History

The history of KLIQ Inc. goes further back than you think. In the early 1990s, MegPac Graphic Design Inc. was established by Marvi Yap, sibling of the late founder and former CEO of One MEGA Group Inc. (OMGI), Sari Yap. MegPac then became a partner creative agency of OMGI, involved in various multimedia and multiplatform projects for the MEGA brand, especially during the digital boom of the early 2000s. Eventually, the owners ceased the operations of MegPac and refocused their efforts into establishing a dedicated Creative Services department within OMGI.

Creative Services catered directly to the clients of OMGI’s homegrown brands across all of its platforms: print, digital, and events. A sister department called Custom Publications was also established to create unique print media, ranging from coffee table books to mini magazines, that took advantage of the company’s production and artistic arms.

The two departments then merged in 2020, and Creative Services as a whole was in service up until the third quarter of 2022, before it matured and expanded into a subsidiary of AGC Power Holdings Corp. (AGC PHC), the parent company of OMGI, among others.

Thus, KLIQ Inc. was formed.
