MGLI History
Setting the Stage for a Global Spotlight
From a vivid dream to a realized vision, MEGA Global Licensing Inc. (MGLI) was born from the imagination of AGC Power Holdings Corp. CEO Archie G. Carrasco. What began as an aspiration to elevate the media publishing landscape in the Philippines has since grown into a powerful force that brings the world’s most iconic titles to local shores—each one reimagined with Filipino creativity, identity, and excellence.
Through MGLI, Carrasco’s passion for storytelling and cultural representation finds its fullest expression. By acquiring and localizing globally renowned media brands, MGLI tells the world that the Philippines is not only ready for the global stage—it belongs there. From page to platform, Filipino stories are told with editorial rigor, visual sophistication, and a deep sense of place.
To bring this vision to life, Carrasco enlisted fellow industry leaders: Suki Salvador, who continues to shape the company’s operational direction as President, and Rhoda Campos-Aldanese, who served as Chief Operating Officer during MGLI’s formative years before moving on to pursue other ventures.

The launch of Vogue Philippines marked a transformative moment in the country’s style narrative, establishing the 28th edition of the world’s fashion authority. MGLI has since expanded its editorial universe with the launch of Allure Philippines, further cementing its commitment to delivering beauty, wellness, and lifestyle content with intelligence and edge.
Today, MGLI stands as one of the largest and most influential media companies in the Philippines. And the journey is only beginning—with more Condé Nast titles on the horizon, MGLI continues to shape the cultural conversation while championing the creative spirit of the Filipino.
