MMGI BRAND NYLON

MMGI BRAND NYLON

Big, Bold, and Brave

NYLON has been the definitive voice for a generation obsessed with fashion, pop culture, and self-expression. With a digital-first mindset and a fearless aesthetic, the brand covers everything from style and beauty to music, art, tech, and travel.

Founded in 1999 by Mark Blackwell, Madonna Badger, Helena Christensen, Marvin and Jaclynn Jarrett, and investor Sam Waksal, NYLON took its name from New York and London—its founding editorial focus. Its debut issue, featuring Liv Tyler photographed by Christensen, defined the magazine’s cultural edge.

NYLON Manila was built on this legacy. Bold, unapologetic, and forward thinking, it celebrates the distinct identity of today’s youth—empowered, expressive, and unafraid to take up space across pop culture, fashion, beauty, and voice. It envisions a future where younger audiences are not just part of the conversation; they lead it.

In a digital landscape shaped by constant noise, NYLON Manila creates space for the self-aware and self-empowered, amplifying the dynamic energy of younger Millennials, emerging Gen Z, and those who grew up with the brand’s irreverent spirit. Here, identity is fluid, individuality is power, and culture is personal. As a digital-first platform, NYLON Manila embraces the responsibility of telling stories that matter—delivering content that is relevant, responsible, and unapologetically bold, with a clear intent to move culture forward.

NYLON Manila stays true to its progressive roots by spotlighting voices that challenge convention—from rising icons to underground talent. Through bold storytelling and immersive events, NYLON Manila fuels a generation unafraid to question norms and redefine the culture.

Among NYLON Manila’s standout immersive experiences was Hot Tropics, a summer beach retreat that gathered influencers and creatives for two days of vibrant activities, cultural exchange, and responsible revelry—designed to celebrate the joy of self-expression.

As part of its mission to spotlight rising voices and real stories, NYLON Manila launched Uncovers—an intimate interview series that explores the personal journeys of today’s most compelling public figures. From Song Kang and Kevin Woo to Beabadoobee, the series reveals the humanity behind the headlines while reinforcing NYLON Manila’s commitment to authentic storytelling.
