The Vanguard of Men’s Fashion Destinations

VMAN Southeast Asia, the vanguard of men’s fashion destinations, is the first Southeast Asia edition of the iconic men’s fashion magazine and the region’s first men’s title.

VMAN has always been a creative playground for artists around the world–now more than ever. As men’s fashion reintroduces its impact through the new wave of forward thinking designers, VMAN electrifies some of the best looks of the season and brings life to the collections on some of the world’s most evolutionary humans.

Now that VMAN Southeast Asia has arrived, our purpose is to introduce new ways of thinking, dressing, and understanding the evolving landscape of manhood.

VMAN Southeast Asia features exclusive interviews with prominent figures in fashion, entertainment, and sports, along with fashion spreads showcasing the latest trends from both international and regional brands and designers. Readers can look forward to cutting-edge fashion editorials, in-depth interviews with industry icons, and comprehensive coverage of the biggest pop cultural news of the region. From the next big musical acts of Manila’s bustling nightlife to the underground style scene of Bangkok to the best shows of fashion week in Singapore, VMAN is set to become the definitive source of inspiration for the modern man in Southeast Asia.

Meet the Team

Patrick Ty, Chief of Editorial Content

Patrick Ty serves as Chief of Editorial Content at VMAN SEA, bringing with him a rich background in creative leadership from his role as Creative Chief at MEGA. With deep roots in Philippine media and fashion, he is set to redefine how today’s Southeast Asian men are seen through the lens of fashion and popular culture.

According to him, “We are excited to introduce today’s Southeast Asian man—in all our entirety—to the world and each other, through the lens of popular culture and fashion. Through VMAN SEA, we want to emphasize that culture is cool, fashion is progressive, regional talent is overflowing, and much of our diverse differences should be celebrated.”

Vince Uy steps in as Creative Director, bringing multifaceted expertise across advertising, fashion, publishing, and social media. His vision will drive the magazine’s visual storytelling.

“Every page will reflect [the modern Southeast Asian man’s] journey, celebrating not just fashion, but the raw, personal moments that shape him. Ultimately, this is about more than just trends—it’s about the ever-evolving concept of masculinity,” shares Vince.

The Inaugural Issue Debut

Across Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, Manila, and Singapore, it is in the rush of the streets, where motorcycles dart through traffic seams and pedestrians weave through noise, neon, and humidity, that the Southeast Asian spirit takes form. In launching VMAN Southeast Asia, the editorial team looked not to studios or pristine backdrops, but to the heart of the cities: the chaos, the character, and the contradictions.

This spirit of motion and multiplicity defined the Killer Fashion Issue, the debut edition of VMAN SEA. An ode to Southeast Asia’s lived realities and dreamscapes, the issue asked a bold question: What does it mean to be a man in Southeast Asia today? The answer, delivered through editorial shoots, essays, and cultural commentary, was anything but singular. He might be a skater slicing through alleyways in Manila. He might be a corporate creative sweating through the Singapore gridlock. He might be both.

Unveiled in Singapore, the inaugural issue marks the region’s first dedicated edition of VMAN, and with it, a powerful shift in perspective. “Finally, we have a magazine for all of us, created by us,” said Patrick Ty, Chief of Editorial Content, during the launch event. “VMAN Southeast Asia is more than just a magazine. It’s a platform, a voice, a cultural force.”

The landmark inaugural issue of VMAN Southeast Asia features three of the region’s most compelling personalities. Thai actor, model, and entrepreneur Pachara “Peach” Chirathivat leads the charge with his magnetic on-screen presence and cultural influence. Sharing the spotlight is Filipino actor and singer Kyle Echarri, whose fearless approach to style and storytelling has made him a rising force in film, theater, and television. Rounding out the trio is Indonesian R&B icon Afgan, a musical powerhouse known for his soulful vocals and genre-crossing collaborations across Asia.

Together, these three cover stars embody the layered identities, global fluency, and creative power shaping the next chapter of Southeast Asia.

Campaigns

VMAN SEA Launch Parties

To mark the debut of the Killer Fashion Issue, VMAN SEA brought its ethos to life through a pair of landmark launch events, one in Singapore, the other in Manila. Each gathering embodied the magazine’s core mission: to reframe the Southeast Asian man not as a stereotype, but as a cultural force: complex, multifaceted, and unafraid to be seen.

Singapore

At the VSpot, an elevated enclave pulsing with style, VMAN Southeast Asia assembled the region’s most compelling personalities, cover stars, creatives, and cultural catalysts, for a night that celebrated not just the magazine’s arrival, but the movement it represents.

Cover stars Kyle Echarri of the Philippines and Afgan of Indonesia led the charge, whose presence signaled the dawn of a new Southeast Asian archetype. The night unfolded with energy and elegance, capturing VMAN SEA’s point of view, where fashion meets identity, and where style is inseparable from self-expression.

More than a bold event, the VSpot became VMAN Southeast Asia’s way of saying: welcome to our perspective, to our style. Welcome to our stories, as told by us. Welcome to the world of the modern Southeast Asian man.

Manila

In Manila, VMAN SEA amplified the momentum with a launch party that turned Bar17 into a living statement of contemporary masculinity. Against the glittering skyline, the city’s fashion-forward set descended in avant-garde ensembles, transforming the venue into a visual manifesto of Southeast Asia’s emerging fashion voice.

Notable personalities from the Philippines’ fashion and creative scene—including designers, artists, and cultural innovators—converged during the evening, turning the venue into a living gallery of forward-thinking style. It became clear that VMAN Southeast Asia is igniting a movement.

Magazine Covers

Across Southeast Asia, a new generation is rising. They are actors, musicians, designers, models, and multidisciplinary creatives; pioneers not only in their own countries, but increasingly, on the global stage. With these covers, VMAN SEA turns the spotlight toward these emerging talents, amplifying their stories and cementing their place in the region’s evolving cultural narrative.
