Angelo Comsti, a seasoned editor and culinary advocate, takes the helm of Delish Philippines to bring authentic, experience-driven food storytelling to Filipino audiences.
Delish Philippines, the upcoming food media brand under One Mega Group Inc., a subsidiary of AGC Power Holdings Corp. (AGC PHC), announces the appointment of Angelo Comsti as its Chief of Editorial Content. Comsti brings decades of experience in food journalism, culinary arts, and storytelling, strengthening AGC PHC’s commitment to building a trusted platform that celebrates Filipino flavors, culinary heritage, and modern food culture.
Comsti began his professional journey as a food writer for a local magazine and later became a regular contributor to one of the country’s leading national broadsheets. Over the years, his work has exemplified excellence in food storytelling and inspired a deeper appreciation for Filipino cuisine. As editor-in-chief of a food industry magazine, he helped shape conversations around culinary innovation and championed local talent within the evolving food landscape.
Beyond editorial expertise, Comsti has established himself as a food consultant, event organizer, and culinary advocate. He is the founder of the Asian Culinary Exchange, a platform that promotes dialogue and partnerships among chefs across Asia. A Le Cordon Bleu–trained chef, he has also conducted numerous cooking demonstrations for culinary schools while authoring five best-selling cookbooks, including ‘The Filipino Family Cookbook: Recipes and Stories from Our Home Kitchen’ and ‘Also Filipino: Regional Dishes I Never Had Growing Up.’ Comsti is also a co-founder of a restaurant recently honored by the Michelin Guide and has recently launched his own deli brand, further establishing his presence in the Philippine culinary industry.
