AGC Power Holdings Corp. renews its partnership with the Philippine Marketing Association to be co-presenter of the Agora Youth Awards 2025
Every year, the Philippine Marketing Association (PMA) organizes the Agora Youth Awards (AYA) to recognize the best marketing students from across the country. This year’s theme, ‘The Search for the Philippines’ Next Gen Z Disruptors’ challenges student marketers to push boundaries by integrating AI, innovation, and sustainability into real-world marketing solutions.
AGC Power Holdings Corp. (AGC PHC), the country’s fastest-growing media and marketing holdings company, reaffirms its commitment to cultivating the next generation of marketing talents and creatives—championing fresh, purpose-driven, and sustainable practices that shape the future of the industry.

Cecille P. Ngo, Chief of Finance and Investment Officer, affirmed the shared mission between PMA and AGC PHC: “In our business, we recognize that brand longevity is rooted not only in innovation and relevance, but in the foresight to invest in future value. For AGC PHC, this partnership reflects that belief—we are investing in the emerging talent that will define and drive the next chapter of our industry.”

The PMA also highlighted the vital role of young marketers in navigating today’s disruptive landscape, reinforcing their ability to lead with creativity and passion. “We know there are many disruptors today, with AI leading the way. At the same time, sustainability and environmental responsibility are becoming essential to businesses. These shifts are encouraging, especially with the passion and drive we see from Gen Z. We’re hopeful our alumni will become the next generation of leaders, not just in Philippine marketing, but across the business landscape,” said Leah Ayeng, PMA Director for Youth and Academe.
AGC PHC’s support for AYA is rooted in the personal journey of its Chairman and CEO, Archie G. Carrasco, a rare two-time awardee of the Agora Youth Awards for individual and group honors, known then as TOMAS (Ten Outstanding Marketing Students) and TOSMA (Three Outstanding Student Marketing Association) respectively. He remains deeply committed to nurturing young talent, notably reflected in the company’s welcoming of five AYA past winners into its workforce.

“There is one company that gave me a home, and that is AGC PHC. Working here is something I’m truly grateful for, because we’re mentored to understand marketing beyond what we learned in our universities. We’re also part of a bigger vision that creates meaningful impact for Filipinos, industries, and communities every single day.” – Mark Cruz, Brand Associate for Allure
“AYA gave us a platform to define our purpose in pursuing marketing. As a Brand Associate of VMAN Southeast Asia, I now approach everything with intention, and that sense of purpose helped us earn our place as leaders here at AGC PHC.” – Prince Cacho, Brand Associate for VMAN Southeast Asia
“It’s fulfilling to be part of a company that not only uplifts creativity and excellence but lives it out in everything we execute. PMA taught me to always ask “why” before the “how,” which aligns perfectly with how AGC PHC approaches storytelling through experiences.” – Franco Delatina, Management Trainee for Events Production
“Working in AGC PHC has given me a meaningful avenue to continue my purpose as a young leader—to inspire, create impact, and grow alongside others. AGC PHC has always been a nurturing space for young talents, and I’m proud to now contribute to that culture of excellence.” – Kaye Liwag, Brand Associate for The Business Manual
“When I joined AYA, I understood that it was all about marketing excellence, and that mindset has shaped how I approach my work, whether in my future marketing agency or my professional work here at AGC PHC. AYA taught me to be goal-driven and to stay grounded in the purpose behind every marketing effort.” – Kent Villacarlos, Marketing Communications Manager of One MEGA Group Inc. (OMGI)
