The global beauty expert has arrived in the Philippines, opening the doors to a new era of beauty.
Allure Philippines has officially launched under a licensing agreement between MEGA Global Licensing Inc. and Condé Nast. Renowned globally as the beauty expert, Allure’s arrival in the country elevates the beauty industry with its comprehensive and authoritative coverage. Allure Philippines marks the brand’s first foray into Southeast Asia, seeking to spotlight the region’s diverse beauty. As the third global edition, the title joins the ranks of Allure US and Allure Korea.

Global icons Heart Evangelista and Bretman Rock on the maiden issue cover
The debut issue was unveiled at The Peninsula Manila through an event, “Allure Philippines’ House of Experts,” uniting the country’s top beauty and wellness authorities. The event showcased immersive rooms representing the beauty brand’s core content: skin, makeup, hair, nails, fragrance, grooming and wellness.

International style figure Heart Evangelista and social media powerhouse Bretman Rock grace the maiden issue as icons of beauty. Unapologetically themselves, they embody what it means to be a ‘Filipino Now’, authentic, bold, fearless, and redefining what it means to carry the Philippines’ name on the world stage.
“Launching the world’s most trusted beauty authority in the Philippines is a deeply personal milestone. When Allure came knocking, I knew exactly what I wanted our edition to be: a mirror, a megaphone, and a movement. Leading Allure Philippines allows me to continue a legacy of expert-backed, inclusive journalism, while redefining what beauty looks like for Filipinos today—giving space to our own stories, our skin tones, our rituals, and our identities,” says Allure Philippines Editor-in-Chief Rissa Mananquil Trillo.

A preview from Allure Philippines’ “The Morena Manual”
Within the pages of Allure Philippines’ debut issue unfolds a narrative of authenticity. Leading the conversation is “The Morena Manual”, a standout section exclusive to the Philippine edition that celebrates real Filipino beauty. Stories include expert-backed tips for morena skin, science-driven insights on melanin, a deep dive into the Filipino nose, and an exploration of beauty standards.
Icons and achievers who have long been the faces of Filipino beauty, Angel Aquino, Iza Calzado, Tweetie De Leon-Gonzalez, Mylene Dizon, Wilma Doesnt, Bianca Gonzalez, and Agot Isidro share personal reflections on embracing their natural features. A manifesto of pride is written as an ode to the women who came before and a message to the next: morena beauty is legacy, identity, and power.
Other sections are thoughtfully crafted to reflect beauty through a holistic lens. In this issue, “The Beauty Brief” delivers essential cheat sheets for every enthusiast with stories like the latest painterly techniques in eyeshadow application. It also highlights personalities shaping the industry, including an intimate glimpse into Leni Robredo’s Naga home and the beauty behind the woman at work. “Meet the Expert” spotlights trusted industry voices, featuring Filipina cosmetic chemist Joyce de Lemos. “A Balanced Life” turns the focus inward with insights on talk therapy, mental strength of athletes on and off the court, and the importance of gut health. “Beyond Beauty” delves into deeper conversations, tackling lookism in workplace success, an inclusivity-driven brand that caters to every size and skin tone, and exploring how beauty can be a powerful catalyst for change.
