A distinguished figure in communications, Aberin has built a career transforming brand storytelling, seamlessly integrating media and marketing to create compelling, multi-platform campaigns. With over 15 years of experience spanning public relations, influencer marketing, and brand strategy, she brings a fresh perspective to OMGI’s homegrown lifestyle brands, ensuring they are primed for global recognition.
Her focus will be on preparing these brands to meet international standards, strengthening their reach beyond the Philippines, and refining their brand narratives to engage a wider audience. She has held key positions—including Associate Publisher, Group Publisher, and Head of Publishing and Marketing—and played a central role in the launch of VMAN Southeast Asia, the first regional men’s fashion magazine.
In this expanded role, Recto will spearhead the regional growth of MEGA, the Philippines’ pioneering glossy fashion title, and VMAN SEA, ensuring these brands establish a strong presence in key Asian markets. She will oversee operations, align creative and commercial strategies, and build meaningful partnerships that strengthen the connection between Southeast Asia’s fashion and media industries.
