Chino Hernandez brings over a decade of media, editorial, and PR experience to GQ Philippines, having previously served as Managing Editor and Digital Editor at Lifestyle Asia, the country’s oldest glossy and one of the leading luxury magazines. During his tenure, he helped steer the legacy publication into the digital age, building and developing its website as it established its presence online.
In his role, he helps shape GQ Philippines’ editorial vision through stories that reflect the ambition, style, complexity, and character of the modern Filipino man. Drawing on his expertise in men’s lifestyle, culture, film, food, and cross-platform story development, he brings a particular focus to the written word and narrative storytelling across print and digital. He works closely with the editorial team to shape ideas, strengthen stories, and ensure a distinctive and consistent voice across the brand’s platforms.
