For Anne Bernisca, Chief Operating Officer and Managing Partner of MMGI, the continued success of Women in Music reflects Billboard Philippines’ and MMGI’s broader mission to champion Filipino talent: “Across our brands under MMGI, our goal has always been to create platforms that champion Filipino excellence, and this event reflects that commitment by highlighting how Filipino artists—especially women—are shaping music and culture in meaningful and measurable ways. The continued growth of Billboard Philippines Women in Music reflects a clear appetite to celebrate our own.”

The recognition honors her decades-long influence as the pioneering voice of the band Asin and her role in creating music rooted in storytelling and social awareness.

Bringing the night’s celebrations to a close, OPM icon Regine Velasquez-Alcasid was named Woman of the Year. Marking her 40th anniversary in the industry, the recognition celebrates her enduring legacy and continued influence as one of the most respected voices in Filipino music.

Through Women in Music, Billboard Philippines continues to champion Filipina artists and creatives who are shaping the sound and future of OPM, highlighting MMGI’s role in showcasing the voices driving Filipino music forward. Bernisca added: “By celebrating the women driving OPM forward, we create visibility that turns into opportunity and recognition that leads to real influence. We want to foster a landscape where women are leading across all facets of music, from artists and producers to executives. We want the next generation to see that there is a space for them to thrive.”
