For two days on September 5 and 6, the Trinoma Activity Center became a playground for beauty, as MEGA BeautyCon 2026 invited audiences to discover, experiment, and engage with beauty in new ways. Now in its seventh edition, the event reflects a beauty landscape where increasingly discerning consumers are looking beyond products and seeking experiences that feel relevant to their lives.
With audiences constantly exposed to new products, trends, and opinions, beauty has become more than a matter of what people buy or use. Experience, culture, and self-expression now play a greater role in how consumers connect with beauty.
MEGA, a fashion media brand under One Mega Group Inc. (OMGI), presents BeautyCon as its biggest public campaign and immersive beauty platform, bringing together brands, creators, experts, and consumers in an experience-driven space designed to foster discovery, participation, and connection.

Rethinking Beauty Discovery
MEGA BeautyCon 2026 reflects a broader shift in how audiences engage with beauty. With consumers increasingly influenced by digital culture and online communities, beauty is no longer defined solely by products or conventional standards. Instead, it has become more personal, evolving, and closely connected to self-expression and identity.

“I think beauty has become such an important form of self-expression because it gives us the freedom to communicate who we are,” says Agoo Azcuna-Bengzon, MEGA Beauty Director. “It brings together a community that celebrates beauty in all its forms. Not as a standard to conform to, but as a space to experiment and discover, play, and express yourself.”
That perspective shapes MEGA BeautyCon’s approach to beauty, moving beyond the traditional beauty fair through immersive brand experiences, beauty masterclasses, creator and celebrity engagement, and interactive community moments. Rather than simply presenting products, the event creates opportunities for audiences to actively participate in the culture surrounding beauty.
The experience is developed in collaboration with the AGC Power Holdings Corp. (AGC PHC) Events Production team, which conceptualizes and executes the event alongside MEGA. This collaboration allows the editorial vision behind MEGA BeautyCon to take shape as a physical experience, with each edition introducing a new creative direction for engaging its audience.

“Every year, we always try to come up with different ways on how we can transform MEGA BeautyCon to a whole new level,” says Ernest Anolin, AGC PHC Events Production Project Manager. “We learned that beauty today is not just product-led—it’s also culture-led.”
An Immersive Celebration
This year’s creative direction draws inspiration from the spectacle of a carnival, translating its vibrant energy, movement, sounds, and sense of discovery into an environment where brands become attractions and beauty encounters become more interactive and memorable.
“During the brainstorming and pre-event planning, the word carnival always came up,” Anolin says. “So we created an event where it’s not just about products and booths, but there’s also storytelling to it.”
With a saturated beauty market and consumers constantly exposed to new products, trends, and influences, expectations have shifted toward experiences that offer something beyond the product itself.

“We have to acknowledge that we are in a new age of beauty consumption wherein most of the consumers are smarter,” says Mara Inciong, MEGA Beauty Writer. “People are looking for more than just products, they’re looking for a feeling, an experience that can elevate their everyday routines, not just their looks.”
Shaping the Beauty Conversation
MEGA BeautyCon serves as an extension of the brand’s role in shaping conversations around beauty while creating a shared environment for its audience, industry partners, and creative community.
Ultimately, the annual event reflects how beauty itself is changing: from something primarily consumed to something experienced, expressed, and shared. By bringing together the industry and its community, MEGA transforms its perspective on beauty into an experience that invites audiences to discover its possibilities for themselves.
