Allure Philippines Marks New Milestone with First Beauty Lab Experience

Allure Philippines, a media brand licensed by Condé Nast under Mega Global Group Inc. (MGGI) marked a new milestone with the success of its first Beauty Lab, welcoming more than 2,000 guests over two days for an immersive event that translated the media brand’s editorial approach to beauty into an engaging, multi-sensory experience.

The event opened with welcome remarks from AGC Power Holdings Corp. (AGC PHC) Chairman and CEO and Allure Philippines Publisher Archie G. Carrasco and Editor-in-Chief Rissa Mananquil-Trillo. In his address, Carrasco underscored that beauty today goes beyond appearance, encompassing confidence, self-expression, wellness, and informed decision-making. He emphasized Allure Philippines’ role in fostering credible beauty conversations by bringing together industry experts, creators, and the community to learn, explore, and shape the future of beauty.

Throughout the two-day event, guests explored interactive activations, immersive sensory spaces, educational workshops, and exclusive editorial experiences that reflected Allure Philippines’ commitment to responsible beauty storytelling. Rather than presenting beauty as a showcase, the event encouraged audiences to discover, learn, and engage through firsthand experiences.

Creating Meaningful Connections Through Beauty

For Mananquil-Trillo, Beauty Lab 2026 represented one of the publication’s most meaningful milestones.

“I’ve seen Allure Philippines since day one, and for me, this event is the most memorable,” she shared. “What really stood out wasn’t just the number of people who attended, but hearing guests tell us that Allure Philippines helped them discover something new, inspired them to write, or even dream of being featured in its pages. There’s nothing more fulfilling than knowing the content we create genuinely makes a difference.”

Collaboration Behind the Beauty Lab 2026

The concept of Beauty Lab 2026 was centered on the belief that meaningful engagement comes from participation rather than observation. For Brand Manager Mark Cruz, the event was envisioned as a space where audiences could experience beauty through discovery and interaction.

“The real concept of the Allure Beauty Lab is all about experience,” Cruz shared. “We wanted to create an environment where people could discover, learn, create, and share through experiences that engage the senses. That’s the kind of meaningful engagement we hope to foster with our community.”

Bringing the experience together also required close coordination throughout the planning process. Events Manager KJ Villanueva shared that the collaborative brainstorming sessions helped shape an event that was interactive, experiential, and engaging for guests.

“It is always fun working with Allure Philippines,” Villanueva said. “The most exciting part was the brainstorming process. With the guidance of AGC’s leadership and our executives, we were able to create an event that was interactive, experiential, and engaging for our guests.”

The event’s immersive atmosphere was further reinforced through a design approach centered on the five senses, allowing each activation to contribute to a cohesive guest journey. AGC PHC Sr. Production Designer Kayla Hubilla shared: “The main goal was to create an immersive sensory tour. Every design was created to engage the senses—sight, touch, smell, hearing, and taste—so guests could experience beauty in a more meaningful and immersive way.”

The inaugural Beauty Lab reflects Allure Philippines’ continued efforts to expand its editorial presence beyond its platforms, creating experiences that strengthen audience engagement while bringing together content, creativity, and community in a single event.
