An opulent banquet with society and industry guests celebrated the launch of Lifestyle Asia’s first issue under the wing of its newest Editor-in-Chief (EIC), Candy Dizon.

Beyond luxury living is reawakened — and Candy Dizon is the catalyst. As she stood before her business partners, family, and friends, Dizon welcomed her first issue and the team as EIC at the RSVP Lifestyle Asia event last August 1, 2022, at Casa Buenas, Newport World Resorts.

Lifestyle With A Purpose

Living a life of luxury is often measured with quantifiable wealth. But for Dizon, it goes above the surface. In her August 2022 Editor’s Note, she reads, “The true definition of luxury is not about how much money one has in their wallet, or how many colors of bags are in one closet, or how many acres of land a house sits on.” Luxury, for the EIC, is about having a purpose.

Bringing this belief to Lifestyle Asia, she desires to tell stories that focus on the heart rather than riches. “With this as our new goal, I wish that you will continue to strengthen your support for the magazine so that together, we may achieve and spread awareness of the deeper meaning of wealth,” she shares.

First Issue Reveal

Dizon stages her first issue featuring Bling Empire TV Personality Kevin Kreider on the cover. True to Lifestyle Asia’s new nature, the inaugural edition narrates the star’s authentic self and the positive change he used to pursue his dreams.

The new Lifestyle Asia team was also lauded for their contributions. Dizon raised a glass to Managing Editor Mawi Fojas de Ocampo, Writers Mica Cruz and Ratziel San Juan, Multimedia Artist Paolo Torio, Group Art Director Marc Yellow, Brand Associate Ella Ocampo, and Group Publisher Janine Recto.

Together, they fashioned the new vision that sets Lifestyle Asia apart from the rest of luxury publications. Continuing to deliver pages that will chronicle luxury on another level in the scene, arts, and culture, the oldest magazine in the country now enters a new era with a new direction and a new hope.
