AGC Power Holdings Corp. (AGC PHC) announces the appointment of Rissa Mananquil Trillo as Editor-in-Chief of Allure Philippines under the exclusive partnership between MEGA Global Licensing (MGLI) and Condé Nast.

She holds a degree in Business Management from Ateneo de Manila University, an Executive MBA from the Asian Institute of Management, and studied Business Sustainability at the University of Cambridge. Trillo began her career as a morena model, advocating for representation in the industry, and later served as President of the Professional Models Association of the Philippines (PMAP), where she continued to champion fair treatment for all models.

As a former beauty entrepreneur, Rissa was named Woman Entrepreneur of the Year in 2017 by EOY Philippines under Ernst & Young, while Go Negosyo honored her as Filipina Entrepreneur of the Year in 2018. Her insights into beauty entrepreneurship are detailed in her best-selling book, Read My Lips: What It Takes to Be a World-Class Homegrown Brand. Trillo is also an advocate for gender equality and women’s empowerment, working with UN Women Philippines since 2020.

Suki Salvador, President of MGLI shares, “Rissa has two decades of experience in journalism and the business of beauty, two qualities that make her the ideal editor to helm Allure Philippines. I have full trust in her vision which I know will help so many people live beautifully both on the inside and outside.”

Chairman and CEO of MEGA Global Licensing Inc. Archie G. Carrasco also adds, “I am excited to have Rissa leading Allure Philippines, bringing her deep-rooted passion and vision for beauty and wellness into this new edition. At Allure Philippines, we won’t just report on beauty, we will actively shape it for the next generation.”

The entry of the brand into the country will pioneer a new era of beauty expertise and empowerment. With a promise to make the audience feel seen, informed, and celebrated, Trillo is set to make her mark. “This isn’t just a new role for me; it’s a responsibility. Allure Philippines gives me the opportunity to shape how Filipinos see themselves—through stories of authenticity, inclusivity, and empowerment.”
